Look National Federation Of Families With Visually Impaired Children

Welcome to LOOK, a beacon of hope for visually impaired (VI) young people and their families. Our mission is clear: to empower visually impaired children and young people to thrive in a world where they are valued, included and equipped for success

LOOK is a small but mighty charity, supporting visually impaired (VI) young people and their families to thrive. Receiving a diagnosis of sight loss in childhood can be incredibly tough, with many barriers to overcome, but LOOK is here to help ensure that nobody faces this challenge alone. We are working hard to create a world in which all visually impaired young people are valued, included and can live their best lives. Join us!

What is the LOOK VI Mentoring Project?

LOOK has a fantastic team of 150 volunteer VI mentors who support younger peers through the highs and lows of living with sight loss. They use their lived experience to give top tips and insider knowledge that no teacher or professional can.

How Can I Help?

LOOK is a charity and our services are offered free of charge. We are reliant on funds from the public to keep going. This is where you come in. Whether you or your family have been helped by LOOK, you volunteer for us, or you are completely new to our community, we would love you to get involved in our fundraising challenge
