Kent Association for the Blind
Supporting sight impaired people to lead independent lives.
Working with over 12,000 people in Kent and the surrounding areas, we're one of the largest and most respected local sight loss charities in the UK.
We work to prevent avoidable sight loss, deliver excellent support services and enable people to get involved and live independently. With sight centres in Bromley, Canterbury and Maidstone, services range from rehabilitation to equipment and social clubs depending on the needs of each person.
Having the support to regain independence can make a real difference to people who are living with a visual impairment, people like Pat, who says "Losing your sight is scary, My eyesight is getting worse and worse. Fortunately, I know that KAB is always there for me which is a help. You can get quite depressed about not being able to do the things you used to be able to do."
