Helen Rollason Cancer Charity
We are dedicated to championing quality of life for everyone living with or affected by cancer
Helen Rollason Cancer Charity is dedicated to championing quality of life for everyone living with or affected by cancer. We do this through our dedicated support centres where we provide a range of holistic therapies and support services that are especially tailored to our community. We do not charge our clients for our services, and it is thanks to our incredible fundraisers that we can continue to make a difference where it matters most.
Our charity provides a safe space and a community for those affected by cancer, and all our services are delivered to support the emotional well-being of our clients alongside their medical treatment. We also offer a range of support groups to provide community and friendship, alongside activities such as yoga, mindfulness and creative workshops that are designed to offer something for everyone.
Our services are available to people all over Essex. We always offer a calm, non-clinical environment that is a safe, peaceful and relaxing setting. The work we do really does make a difference, as one of our clients told us:
I love coming to the Centre, and I’ve also seen first-hand the true value that your donation will bring. When you support our charity, you are helping people to heal.
This is a very special place that offers respite to anyone who has been affected by cancer, and a place where you can talk about anything. That is a very special feeling, because for once, you can just be yourself. Helen Rollason is the one place you don’t have to put on a brave face. It’s an environment of comfort and safety. Because the therapies and treatments are holistic. they do more than just heal the body, they help to heal the mind as will. This is your time, just for you.
HRCC helps you take back some of that control, by enabling you to find wellness again, so it’s easier to move forwards. It’s no good just sitting there, you have to go out and find it, we don’t have time to wait.” Elaine
