Beechwood Cancer Care

Supporting those affected by cancer, grief and bereavement

Beechwood Cancer Care has been providing bespoke support to adults and children from the age of 5, living through or affected by cancer, since 1990.

A cancer diagnosis turns life upside down in an instant.

It brings fear, uncertainty, and overwhelming questions - not just for the person diagnosed, but for their whole family. At Beechwood Cancer Care, we walk alongside those affected by cancer, grief and bereavement, offering hope, understanding and free, specialist support when it’s needed most.

We’re dedicated to supporting anyone affected by cancer. We know living through a diagnosis isn’t easy, and that different people need different blends of support. That’s why we’re here – to help our clients, and those closest to them, find the new normal.

We get to know our clients to understand their individual needs and priorities. This understanding enables us to create the right blend of support for each client. We offer a range of services in our care packages, such as:

  • Professional counselling
  • One-to-one support
  • Complementary therapies
  • Discussion groups
  • Relaxation techniques

Our wrap-around approach to support is what our clients find most beneficial about Beechwood. We’re always working on new, more flexible ways to support our clients’ needs – but this is only possible with the wider community’s fundraising support.

Beechwood's services are free at the point of need so that we can provide support to those who need us, made possible by the generosity of our supporters.
