Abigail’s Footsteps is a UK baby loss charity dedicated to supporting parents through the heartbreak of losing a baby and improving the care families receive at the most difficult moments of their lives.
Since 2010, we have worked closely with hospitals to transform the way bereaved parents are supported. We provide specialist baby loss counselling, help create calm and private bereavement spaces within hospitals, and deliver expert bereavement training to midwives and healthcare professionals, ensuring parents are met with compassion, dignity and understanding.
One of our most significant contributions is the creation and funding of the Abi Cooling Cot. These cots give parents the precious gift of time, allowing them to stay with their baby for longer before saying goodbye. Abi Cots are distributed nationwide to hospitals wherever the need exists, helping families create memories that last a lifetime.
